From finding the right friends to discovering the upside of failure, Everybody, Always points the way to embodying love by doing the unexpected, the intimidating, the seemingly impossible.

adult Ministry

  • Worship

    Communion Attendants

Help with preparing, distributing, and cleaning up the elements for our worship services.  Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month at the 9 am and weekly at the 8:15 & 10:30 am services.

    Scripture Readers

We delight in having congregation members come forward to read aloud a Responsive Psalter reading during our 9:00 am Traditional service.  Readers are always given the scripture in advance and we welcome any and all who wish to help with this special time in service.

    Ushers

Ushers are present at the 9:00 and 10:30 services and have the important duty of welcoming all to our worship space.  They also pass out bulletins, pick up registration booklets, help attendees find seating and perform offertory duties.

    Altar Attendants

Since the worship space is a place where people assemble to encounter Christ, our altar attendants prepare the worship space for service and decorate seasonally throughout the year.

    Altar Flowers

Help is always welcome as flowers are sold in the Gathering Area in the weeks leading up to Christmas and Easter to help adorn the worship center.

    Tech Crew

It takes a great team each Sunday to run our slides and assist with sound and videography.  We welcome anyone who may be interested in helping us!  No experience is necessary; we will train you.  Please email Cindy.Wenz@faithumc.org if you would like to join us!

  • Music Ministry

    Handbell Choir

    Multi-Generational  |  Tues. 6-7 pm

This multi-generational group performs a variety of music at our 9 am service on the 3rd Sunday of each month throughout the school year.  Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 6-7pm in the Worship Center.  Basic music reading skills are needed and although prior experience is beneficial, it is not required.

    Genesis Choir

    Adult & Youth  |  Tues. 7-9 pm

This group consists of adult & youth singers who firmly believe that the whole is better than the sum of its parts. They present a variety of music for our traditional 9 am worship service, as well as seasonal & special performances. Rehearsals are every Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Worship Center. (Childcare is available upon prior reservation.)

    Cokesbury Choir

    Adult & Youth  |  5th Sundays

For those who love to sing, but may not be able to make the weekly rehearsal commitment, the Cokesbury Choir sings throughout the year on the months with five Sundays.  Rehearsals are at 8:15 am prior to the scheduled Sunday performances.  Practice is held in the choir loft of the Worship Center.  Any and all interested singers are invited...just show up and let's sing!

    Wall of Sound

    Gentlemen  | Occasional Performances

Throughout the year our 9 am service is truly blessed with offertories from the "Wall of Sound".  This is for any and all gentlemen that are interested in making a joyful sound unto the Lord.  The Wall of Sound holds rehearsals the morning of the Sunday they are singing...on occasion they will meet the Sunday before.

    Faith Band

The Faith Band performs during the 10:30am service.  Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm in the Worship Center.  All participants must have a basic mastery of their primary instrument and are welcome to join our rehearsals at any time in order to work towards joining us on Sunday mornings.  Please contact Patrick.Brown@faithumc.org for more information.

A/V Tech Crew for all services

Singing not your thing?  We always need volunteer help on a weekly basis to run our slides and assist with sound and video.  Please email Cindy Wenz if you would like to join us!

  • Solo Spirits Singles Ministry

The Faith Solo Spirits is a caring and supportive community outreach providing the opportunity for Christian growth, fellowship, and service, while affirming that all single adults are whole individuals and important members of God's Holy Family.  We are integrated into all ministries of the church, rather than simply being relegated only to a "Singles Ministry."  We connect to God, to others, and to the community around us by serving in Outreach, Men's, Women's, Children's, Youth, Music, Fine Arts, and every other ministry of the church. We welcome and value singles--whether you've never been married, or you are separated, divorced, or widowed. We hope that you can connect with the Solo Spirits and we look forward to making you a new friend.

For more information or to find out about our upcoming events and Bible studies, please contact Marie Kunkel (281-460-8827) or Cyndi Lockwood (832-643-5340).  You can also email us at faithsolospirits@gmail.com.

If you or someone you know would benefit from receiving a shawl please contact Linda O'Donnell at 281.341.8200.
