Why take the next step?

It is God’s intention that we grow more generous and take bigger steps in our giving as we become more aware of how richly He has blessed us.

It’s about SPIRIT

Stewardship is directly linked to discipleship.  How we use our resources is a spiritual issue—not just a financial one.  The quality of that decision is determined by the spiritual condition of your heart.

It’s About TRUST

As we grow in grace, we learn to depend less on ourselves and more on God: to relinquish attitudes and habits that impede our relationship with God.

It’s About JOY

Stewardship is not our way of raising a budget.  It is God’s way of raising disciples.  Discover the joy of growing in your relationship with God as you consider how you can take the next step in your faith journey and live generously.

Taking the next step

This is a time to

consider your personal

spiritual journey.

You have known places where the grace of God has been in your life.  How is gratitude for that grace reflected in your Christian

giving?  Pray about what God is calling you to do in a planned offering of thanks. These thoughts and prayers will ready you to respond.

When you are ready, we invite you to fill out an Estimate of Giving card which you can download and print HERE to mail in or turn in at the church office.

Pray that God will grant you wisdom and understanding about your personal decision as you contemplate Taking the Next Step.

“As we learn to trust God more and more, we learn to live

"as we live generously, we learn to trust god more and more"

Get involved!

Where Charity and Love Prevail

This great hymn is loosely translated from the ancient text: Ubi Carita et Amore (Where Charity and Love Are, there Is God). It was written by Saint Paulinus II (726-804) of Aquileia in 792, with its original tune having been composed a century prior. The text is based off 1 John 4:21, simply stated, if you love God, you should love your neighbor. In order to fully love, we must be able to fully forgive others. It is in this forgiveness we are forgiven our sins by God. To be truly charitable, is to forgive and love as Christ loves and forgives us. Christ washed the disciple’s feet as an outward sign of His love, initiating the command: Love your neighbor as yourself. So as an outward sign of our love for Christ and our neighbors, we should always be willing to forgive others.

Staff gift program

A Note from Faith's Staff Parish Relations Committee:

Faith United Methodist Church is blessed to have pastors and staff who continue to faithfully share the hope of Christ in our community.

During this particularly difficult year of chaos and change, our staff has worked diligently to keep the church operating whether the actual building was open or closed. Their dedication to bringing creative expressions of worship, continued discipleship, and a multitude of ways for our community to engage the Gospel has been a beacon of hope in a time of great uncertainty.

Will you prayerfully consider a special donation this season to allow us, as a church, to present a modest Christmas gift to our staff as a supplement to payroll in appreciation for their work?

Prayer Requests

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6

Our mission

At Faith United Methodist Church, our desire is to partner with parents in the most important aspect of their children’s lives—that is, their growth and purpose in relationship with Jesus Christ. Through worship, Sunday school, and Bible study, we create fun and meaningful avenues for your children to learn that God created them, God loves them, Jesus wants to be their friend, and God can be trusted to help them make wise choices and treat others with respect. We strive to collaborate with parents during each phase of their children’s lives in sending these important messages home.
