Youth of Faith

our mission

At Faith United Methodist Church, the Youth Department is committed to help connect and solidify the identity of the youth in Christ Jesus and offer them ways to further their knowledge of Him in their heart and in their head.  Through Bible study, Sunday school, mission trips, Confirmation, fellowship events and retreats, we find ourselves within the great cloud of witnesses knowing we are not alone in our journey with Jesus and together we can answer His great calling.

NEW ASSOCIATE YOUTH DIRECTOR

Please help us welcome Nathanial Matis!  Nathanial is currently studying at Fuller Theological Seminary out of Pasadena California pursuing a Masters of Divinity and am an alumni of the University of Houston (Go Coogs!). He and his wife, Angel, are celebrating their second wedding anniversary this August. She is a born and raised Texas native while Nathanial is a citizen with roots in the “Great White North” (Canada). They have both been actively involved in youth groups and leadership roles and have a heart for serving God.

They are both looking forward to being a part of the Faith UMC family and feel truly blessed with this opportunity and privilege to work with your youth and see the next generation of God’s people grow to share the love of Christ even farther.

LAST WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY & SNACK SUPPER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!
Our last Wednesday together for this school year is Wednesday, May 17th!  It's been an amazing year and we have loved spending time with all of you and getting into HIS WORD.  Help us end this year with a fun night of fellowship, Bible study and food.  We'll be having corn dogs, mac-n-cheese and, of course, dessert.
